Camp Michaels Campout
We're headed to Camp Michaels for a pack campout! We'll be based at Shelter #4, a covered shelter with picnic tables, electricity, and charcoal grills, with two tent camping sites right nearby.
🏕️ Bring Your Own Tent
Set up in one of the two tent sites adjacent to our shelter. Don't have a tent? Let us know — we can help you find one.
🛻 Getting Your Gear to the Site
Camp Michaels does not have gear carts, so plan ahead. You have three options:
Carry it in — pack light and make the walk.
Bring your own wagon or wheelbarrow for transport.
Use the Pack "gear shuttle" — meet us between 1:00 and 2:00 PM and we'll haul your gear in for you.
🥾 What We'll Be Doing
We'll likely take a hike around part of the property and play sports in the large field. Scouts are also welcome to explore the creek — if your Scout plans to do any "creeking," send a dry pair of socks AND shoes to swap into afterward. Some Scouts may also do a little fishing, so feel free to bring your own gear if you have it.
