Cub Scouting is an adventure for all kids — and no family should ever feel like their financial situation prevents participation in Pack activities.
We offer a simple way to manage event costs that’s respectful, flexible, and private.
💰 Two Cost Options for Pack Events
When you register for a Pack event with a fee (like campouts, outings, or special activities), you’ll see two price options:
Full cost — the standard event price
Supported cost — a reduced price (20% of full cost)
Families are welcome to choose the option that fits their situation — no questions asked and no request required.
❤️ Extra Support Available
If the supported cost still isn’t affordable for your family, please contact the Cubmaster or the Committee Chair. In select cases, full participation support may be granted with approval from two Pack leaders (e.g., Cubmaster, Committee Chair, Treasurer).
🤫 Privacy and Respect
Your payment choice is completely confidential and only seen by the Pack leaders who handle registrations and payments.
📘 Need Help with Council Fees?
Note that Council and national registration fees are handled separately from Pack event costs and may have Council-level financial assistance programs available.

Our financial assistance approach is reviewed every year as part of the Pack budget process to ensure we continue supporting our Scouts in the best way possible.
